Live: Real Friends and Knuckle Puck Team Up For An Unforgettable Tour

Two beloved pop punk bands have teamed up to bring a high-energy and emotional tour to South Florida. Proving that camaraderie and rock music can create one of the best tours to see this late winter, Real Friends and Knuckle Puck delivered an amazing dual headlining show.

Arm’s Length

Joining the headliners were openers Arm’s Length and One Step Closer. Hailing from Ontario, Canada, emo band Arm’s Length was all smiles and infectious melodies in Ft. Lauderdale. Starting strong with their song “Object Permanence”, Arm’s Length gave the crowd a glimpse of what Canada had to offer South Florida. The melodic tunes combined with Arm's Length's charismatic performance set the pace for the rest of the evening. After the show, I had a moment to speak with frontman Allen Steinberg, and he commented how much he enjoyed Ft. Lauderdale’s energy and the venue and hopes to return soon.

One Step Closer

Pennsylvania’s One Step Closer brought their melodic hardcore flavor to Revolution Live and commanded the stage. One Step Closer reminded us how a straight-edge band parties with their intense punk-style vocals alongside their high-energy crowd. It was difficult to stand still, but how could you when there were some nice circle pits? Talking amongst concertgoers shortly after their set, it was clear that One Step Closer won over Ft. Lauderdale’s heart.

Real Friends graced the stage with immense anticipation from the crowd, igniting them with hits like “Me First” and “Tell Me You’re Sorry.” Playing "Tell Me You're Sorry," demonstrated the love for their recent record There’s Nothing Worse Than Too Late. Channeling his inner “Criss Angel” in the middle of the set, Cody moved from stage to floor during "Teeth," creating a beautiful moment for everyone present. Sweetening their set, Real Friends threw in a cover of “Sweetness” by legendary pop punk group Jimmy Eat World, leaving no one in the crowd standing still.

Real Friends

Knuckle Puck closed the night, opening with “The Tower” from their latest record, Losing What We Love. If there is one thing guaranteed, it's that Knuckle Puck knows how to bring the party. While enjoying their latest record, we were still treated to hits off of their iconic Copacetic record such as “Poison Pen Letter,” “Pretense," and of course, “Untitled.”

Knuckle Puck

Nothing brings a room together like the lyrics to your favorite sad song in sync with some of the best live bands all in one. If this tour hits one of your cities, do not hesitate to check all the bands out.
